Kay’s love of art began as a young child when her first-grade teacher submitted her work to the Chicago Art Institute. Children from all areas of Chicago were asked to draw their pets, and one drawing was excepted from each school.
This began Kay’s love of photography and painting. She has had her work in the Oklahoma City Zoo and Oklahoma Veterinary calendars. For the last 14 years of her retirement in North Texas, Kay’s subjects have included landscapes, animals, and people in outdoor settings. She continues to create art to express her love of beauty in the natural world.
