I have always had an interest in the Arts, even as a child. MadeByMeeya~ Creating Something Special is my company name, though many ask "are you Meeya"? No, Kathy Dickerson..MadeBy"Me" seemed a bit to simple!

 Fabrics /Fibers are one of my great weaknesses. I've collected bins full of fabrics, ribbons, laces, trinkets and neckties (I own 300+ ties, a bit obsessive) Years ago, I was sewing Bargello Quilts, then began my journey with fiber Dollmaking. I still create a Doll from time to time.

  Three years ago, I discovered the world of Needlefelting! I now own over 100 bins of wool sheep fiber, purchased from here in the USA, as well as Europe.

One sheep owner sends photos of her "babies" with my wool orders, a fun treat.

  Needlefelting requires hours, sometimes days of forming the fibers & stabbing over & over with special barbed needles. The "core" of each project, especially my critters, looks nothing like the finished creation. It's almost Magical when I reach completion!

    I am now retired and reside at Lake Nocona,Tx. I continue to find happiness in my creative world and love sharing this "Happiness" with others!
