Jerry Hunsinger
Character studies and figures are my favorite subjects although I paint landscapes. Extreme dark and light contrast on a subject has always intrigued me. Light falling upon certain subject in an unusual way is an invitation to me to paint that subject. I do not consider myself to be an intellectual painter rather a spiritual one. If I see something that I like I paint it. I give God total credit for giving me my talent and the desire and energy to develop it. I consider myself to be merely a recorder of the beauty he has created.
