My work often features subjects in detail. I enjoy capturing images through the camera lens and then painting the subject in a fresh and interesting way. I am looking for beauty intereset and purpose in various subject matters.  The useful, worn, everyday people and objects are attractive and special to me. They stand the test of time and give a sense of permanence in an ever-changing world. I often find beauty in the broken and outcast. 

There is wonderful imagery all around us daily which often goes unnoticed. I see images that tend to be a discovery. I encourage people to take a second look. it is my hope to evoke a different idea, view or awareness within the viewer.
