 Students will create a vibrant hummingbird floating beside a bold, blooming flower.

We’ll explore layering color, blending soft backgrounds, and creating that dreamy bokeh effect that makes the subject glow.

Young artists will learn how to simplify the bird’s shape while still capturing those beautiful, sweeping wings.

We’ll talk about color harmony, adding highlights for sparkle, and how to make a background feel soft and out of focus so the hummingbird truly shines.

This class is designed to build confidence with acrylic paint while encouraging playful brushwork and fearless color choices. By the end, each student will leave with a lively, eye catching painting full of movement and light.
