Explore the joy of creating a landscape painting in an informal and relaxed group 

Saturday, March 9, 10 a.m. to  4:00 p.m.. 

This one-day workshop is for anyone sixteen or older that would like to learn about painting a landscape with oils (or acrylics), or those who have some experience and would like to improve their skills and knowledge. 

The class size will be limited so each person can receive personalized coaching.

Artist/instructor Mike Craig paints a wide variety of subject matter in oils and has won many awards for his paintings over the years. Check out the Vantage Point Gallery and his website, www.mcraigart.com for examples of his work.

In this class you will learn important aspects of painting a compelling image while having fun creating a small landscape painting in just a few hours. The group will examine the elements that help make an attractive composition and how to create realistic lighting and the illusion of depth in a scene.

The one-day class will cost $80. 

Mike will be painting in oils, but if you prefer to paint in acrylics, you are welcome to do so in the class. 

Upon registering, Mike will provide with more information and a list of the paint colors and materials he will be using.
