The initial drawing class will focus on drawing basics, and on drawing people. We will discuss and demonstrate the steps that simplify the construction of a face, with easy methods to locate the eyes, mouth, etc. We will focus on drawing only what we see, rather than what we know, in order to produce a lifelike image. 

Subsequent sessions will address the figure and its classic proportions, angles, etc. Once mastered, the same techniques can be directly applied to drawing animals, structures or any other subject.

All necessary materials will be provided.

Classes will be weekly on Wednesdays from 11am-1pm, starting June 7th. 

The initial June 7th class is no charge. Subsequent classes will be $10 per class.
